On Saturday, July 8th, three Exelon East NAYGN chapters held a joint networking event while moving very fast- the networking took place while rafting over 16 miles of class 2 and 3 whitewater rapids! NAYGN members from the Limerick, Kennett Square, and Oyster Creek chapters participated in the unique event at the Lehigh Gorge Dam release near Allentown, PA.

Exelon East NAYGN members enjoyed a day on the water.

While one raft was stuck on a rock upriver, several team members spotted and identified a poisonous Copperhead snake near the river. Luckily, everyone survived the white water unscathed and were able to enjoy the beautiful day. The participants were able to bond by working together towards a common goal (making it down the rapids), and even stopped for lunch on an island in the middle of the river. What a great day!
