Dear NAYGN Members,
We are writing to inform you that we recently discovered that our NAYGN.org website server was infiltrated and membership data was likely compromised by an unauthorized party. The personal information that may have been accessed includes names, email, company affiliation, and mailing addresses. Our website server does not store any sensitive data such as social security numbers, driver licenses, bank account numbers, or credit information.
We apologize for this event and will be taking several steps to both correct this issue and improve our server security to mitigate future attacks.
We will be removing any malicious code starting the week of February 11th. During this time, an “under maintenance” screen will be in place on the website while the work is being performed behind the scenes. We estimate it will take approximately one week to sanitize the website and the website will remain unavailable until the project is complete.
If you have any questions regarding this incident, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at email@example.com.
