DESCRIPTION:Webinar: Join us for Long Term Storage of Nuclear Waste: Part One\, featuring Dakota Kochie\, Director of Government and External Relations at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO).\n  \nThe NWMO is responsible for the safe\, long-term management of Canada’s used nuclear fuel in a manner that protects people and the environment for generations to come. \nThis session will provide a high-level introduction to deep geological repositories (DGRs)\, site selection and community partnership\, safety and stewardship considerations\, and Canada’s long-term waste management approach.
