NAYGN Book Club: “The Mystery at Hunting’s End” by Mignon G. Eberhart

This 1930’s chiller is set in the Sand Hills of western Nebraska. Smack in the middle of the rolling desolation is Hunting’s End, a weekend lodge owned by the rich Kinger Family. Socialite Matil Kingery, the Daughter of the Late Mr. Kingery, invites a strange collection of guests to her weekend retreat for a hunting trip. What do these guests have in common? They were all present when Matils father died of “Heart Failure” exactly five years before. With the help of her dear friend Nurse Keate and a detective, she intends to find out whodunit. Before the fun can begin, a November blizzard traps the participants, at least one of which a murderer, in the lodge. Will Matil uncover the truth or will she suffer the same fate as her father?
