Best Chapter in Public Information

This award recognizes a NAYGN chapter for its exceptional efforts in engaging and informing the public about the nuclear industry. It celebrates chapters that go above and beyond to create a lasting positive impression and foster understanding of nuclear energy’s value and impact. The submission should showcase a single event conducted in 2024 that demonstrates outreach and described in detail to satisfy the voting rubric. The event may be something that is held annually by the chapter (e.g. an annual plant tour), but duplicate submissions for an event that has previously won will not be accepted. Each submission must highlight a distinct event that has not previously won this award.

    • Significant reach or influence demonstrated by a public engagement activity.

  2. Examples of Public Engagement and Information Events
