2024 Annual Essay Contest Winners

This year’s theme asked students to explore where nuclear technology could have the most profound impact. From SMRs to desalination to space exploration there are so many ways that nuclear will transform our society.  Ana and Dashiell focused on the many benefits of fusion, while Sam described various ways nuclear is used in agriculture.

NAYGN would like to thank everyone who participated!  We had a lot of great essay submissions this year, so judging definitely wasn’t easy.  Essays were received from 10 different states and provinces across the US and Canada.
