Tailgates and Tail-Wags: A High-Energy Day with NAYGN Carolinas

NAYGN Carolinas enjoyed an afternoon of puck, pups and fun!  NAYGN Carolinas attended the Charlotte Checkers vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins game on Saturday, March 29, 2025 for a 4:00 PM puck drop at Bojangles Coliseum. 

Before the game, we kicked things off with a pre-game tailgate starting at 2:00 PM, complete with pizza, Cornhole, and Kan-Jam to get everyone in the spirit. This special event also included the Pooch Party—yes, you could bring your dog and watch the game from a dog-friendly section! We were sure to keep an eye on the scoreboard, as NAYGN was featured with a special announcement and photo display during the game. After the final buzzer, we continued the fun with a post-game meetup at Smokey Joe’s Cafe, just a short walk from the coliseum, where we enjoyed live music, pool, drinks, and networking opportunities.

Whether you brought your pup, family, or friends, this event was a fantastic way to connect with fellow NAYGN members and enjoy a high-energy evening together.
