Join local chapter members and industry professionals for the annual NAYGN Carolinas Regional Conference on Thursday, October 27th in Charlotte, NC! The conference is being held in-person this year for the first time since 2019 and the conference is free to attend for NAYGN members. Enjoy professional development and networking sessions with peers from all around the Carolinas!

The conference includes a welcome social on Wednesday, a full day of activities on Thursday, and a plant tour on Friday. Breakfast and lunch will be served at the conference, and the socials will include light dinner options.

Hotel:

The conference is taking place at O.J. Miller Auditorium, located inside of the Duke Energy HQ (526 S. Church St, Charlotte, NC 28202). Guests traveling from out of town are welcome to select any hotel near Uptown Charlotte.

We have a negotiated rate at Hampton Inn Charlotte-Uptown of $159 + tax for a stay of 1 or 2 nights. The negotiated rate does not expire, however the room hold guarantee expires 9/26, so make your reservations ASAP.

Parking:

Those who are staying at a hotel in Uptown should be able to walk to Duke Energy. Those who are driving in the morning of are welcome to park at the Mint St Parking Garage, located behind Duke Energy. We will validate parking so that you aren’t charged the $20 daily rate.

Accessing the Conference Venue (Duke Energy HQ):

Those who are guests or are otherwise not badged at the Duke Energy HQ will need to be escorted through the front entrance (526 S Church St, across the street from Museum Towers Apartments). Duke Energy NAYGN members will be waiting to escort you into the building. Note that the conference is being held in the 13 floor concrete building (Duke Energy has vacated our previous 48 floor HQ).
