GE Vernova Hitachi NAYGN Step Challenge Supports Heart & Stroke Foundation with 3.6 Million Steps

GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy Canada NAYGN Chapter organized a Step Challenge to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

The Step Challenge was hosted on a step-counting app and promoted heath, wellness, and friendly competition in the GVH Markham office. For every person who joined the challenge, $10 was added to our group donation. The challenge ran for the month of June 2025, and at the end of the month we announced winners and prizes.

From our challenge, we recorded 3,623,967 steps for the month of June and raised $200 which was donated via the NAYGN Canada Heart & Stroke Foundation fundraising page.
