NAYGN Response to COP29

After careful consideration, North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) has decided not to attend the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan. While we are passionate about COP’s mission to mitigate climate change, we cannot attend due to the extensive human rights violations in Azerbaijan. Please read NAYGN's full statement below.
