On Saturday, April 9, Wolf Creek Young Generation in Nuclear members hosted Boy Scout Troops 1061, 155, 106, 139, 157 and 165 to learn about Wolf Creek and nuclear power. More than 100 boy scouts, troop leaders and family members from Burlington, Emporia, Osage City, and Overland Park participated in the event. The tour began in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Learning Center with an introduction to nuclear power, a demonstration and presentation of the simulator and a bus tour inside the owner controlled area.
Special thanks go out to Terry Damashek, Dale Berry and Jack Myers, who volunteered their time over the weekend to lead the simulator demonstration presentation.
