Hearing from Our Members
Couldn’t make it to Maryland for the 5th annual joint Northeast/Atlantic Regional Conference, pictured above? We’ve highlighted four key takeaways from the amazing panelists.
Canadian Nuclear Association’s Nuclear Hill Day was October 28th and 29th, and it featured a great selection of nuclear advocates from NAYGN, WiN, and other groups. More importantly, it shows the actions and impact young members in our industry can make!
We offer a big THANK YOU to our 2018 Continental SENSEI Award winners, who have each gone above and beyond to help younger nuclear employees grow and thrive in their careers. Our sixteen SENSEI winners span 12 companies and represent the people that help move KT&R from an idea to an action!

Watts Bar’s NAYGN members love to energize the future of nuclear especially by being involved in our communities. Throughout the past year, we have spent many hours in our local schools and at community events teaching the next generation about nuclear generation. #20for20 #NAYGN #Nuclear ... See MoreSee Less
TVA Watts Bar’s NAYGN chapter is excited to be part of the #20for20 takeover this week! First up, a little info about our plant and our chapter — we are one of three nuclear plants in the Tennessee Valley Authority nuclear fleet that helps provide approximately 40 percent of the low-cost, carbon-free electricity used across the Tennessee Valley. We are located in Spring City, Tennessee, and our dual-unit site produces enough power for 1.3 million homes. Our NAYGN chapter has been active for more than 10 years and currently we have more than 70 members on-site. We can’t wait to share all of the great things our chapter is doing, so stay tuned! #NAYGN #Nuclear ... See MoreSee Less
One week ago, Beaver Valley Power Station hosted its first Family Day since 1999. BV NAYGN was a key contributor in the organizing of the event. At Family Day, employees had the opportunity to bring their families on site to learn more about the plant and nuclear energy. NAYGN created a Virtual Tour of our site complete with videos of refueling so that everyone who came could walk away with a deeper understanding of how the plant functions. They also volunteered to stand by our replacement steam generators and give more information on the components and how they work. All who attended had a wonderful time and BV NAYGN can not wait to help plan the next one! #BeaverValley #BVMatters #20for20 #NAYGN #Nuclear ... See MoreSee Less
