2026 Student Art Contest
North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) is thrilled to announce the return of our Art Contests! Driven through the creative submissions in the past, we are thrilled to see your artistic talent shine in the new year.
All forms of art are accepted, such as Drawings, Paintings, Digital Creations, etc.
Submissions will be based around the use of Nuclear science throughout North America. Students must be a resident within the Continent of North America to be eligible for a prize.
The following can be used as an idea to base your artwork on:
- Nuclear Energy and their contribution towards baseload electricity generation.
- Nuclear Energy for Space Exploration: The Future of Powering Deep Space Missions.
- Advancements in Medicine through Radioisotopes.
- The advancement of Food Production through Nuclear Technology.
In 2026, we have decided to run our age groups concurrently from January-March. The three contests are as follows:
- 12 years old and below
- Ages 13-17
- 18 years old and above
Our Student Outreach Subcommittee and Members will vote to determine the top submissions of each category, awarding the prizes listed below.
Contest Criteria
Who: Students of all ages, whether in grade school or college/university, are eligible to participate in this contest. The submissions will be grouped into categories based on age: 12 years old and below, ages 13-17, or 18 years old and above.
What: All forms of art are accepted, such as Drawings, Paintings, Digital Creations, etc. Submissions should include a picture, video, or digital file of your work of art. For example, a picture of a drawing, a video of a clay sculpture, or an pdf of an Adobe Illustrator file (.ai to .pdf).
Please include a signed copy of the NAYGN Art Contest Waiver with your submission.
When: Deadline for submissions is March 31st, 2026.

Prizes
Ages 18+: Laptop and tablet
Ages 13-17: Tablet and kindle
Ages 12 and under: Choice of the following prizes:
- Butterfly Edufields: Motor Machines
- Snap Circuits: Green Energy
- Doctor Jupiter: My First Science Kit
Students must be a resident within the Continent of North America to be eligible for a prize. Prizes will be shipped to addresses within North America only. Limit of one prize per submission.
Winners will also have a chance to be featured on our social media and website, highlighting their submission if desired.
