Nuclear Symposium 2025: NAYGN Clean Energy Committee Chart the Future of Clean Energy at Climate Week NYC

🔆 Nuclear Symposium 2025: A Catalyst for Clean Energy Innovation

New York City, September 24, 2025 — Against the backdrop of Climate Week NYC, the Nuclear Symposium 2025, hosted by Nuclear New York at Cornell Tech’s Verizon Executive Education Center, brought together a powerful coalition of policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and advocates. The mission? To accelerate nuclear energy’s role in the clean energy transition through collaboration, innovation, and leadership.

NAYGN worked closely with Nuclear New York to support the Symposium, and we were proud to be recognized for our contributions.

One of the event’s most impactful panels, “Design to Deployment: Nuclear Technology and Supply Chain,” explored the complex journey of bringing advanced nuclear technologies to market.

Aditi Bhardwaj, Clean Energy Committee Lead, introduced the panel and reflected on the message:

“The overarching message was clear: scaling nuclear successfully requires not just technology readiness, but a robust, agile, and well-integrated supply chain from start to finish.  More than just a gathering, the Nuclear Symposium 2025 was a catalyst for innovation, leadership, and connection. By uniting emerging professionals and seasoned experts, the event highlighted the importance of collaboration in shaping a sustainable future.”

Empowering Emerging Leaders

The symposium provided transformative opportunities for emerging professionals, fostering connections and policy engagement. Through cross-functional panels and informal discussions, participants expanded their networks and gained mentorship from leaders in policy, finance, technology, and operations.
