Join NAYGN in supporting our annual drawing contest. This year’s theme is “Nuclear Technology In My Community! emphasizing the wide variety of benefits nuclear technology can provide.

Students in grades 4 to 5 are eligible to participate. Submissions should be made as PDFs by scanning 8 1/2″ x 11″ drawings. PDFs should include a scan of the back of the drawing, which should highlight a title or description of the drawing, the student’s name, school, grade, city, state/province, T-shirt size, and teacher name.

Prizes will be provided as follows:

  • First Place – Tablet, science kit, NAYGN T-Shirt, Honorary NAYGN Membership, Award Certificate, and a pizza party for the student’s classroom (~35 students)
  • Second and Third place students –  will each receive an NAYGN T-shirt, a science kit, an award certificate, and an honorary membership in NAYGN. 
  • The school library of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finalists will receive a collection of books and reference materials on nuclear science and technology with the name of the winning student inside the cover, honoring their accomplishment.

Final Submissions are due by March 29, 2024. Please submit to schooloutreach@naygn.org.
