2026 Election Results are Here
Congratulations to the newly elected 2026 Board of Directors!

The new board members will be officially inducted at the continental conference. Please give a warm welcome to your new board members! Read about their vision for NAYGN below.

Lindsy's Vision Statement
Over the next two years, NAYGN should prioritize delivering value to its members by expanding professional development opportunities. Based on member feedback, webinars and conferences are essential, and we should curate panels and monthly learning sessions that address both technical expertise and soft skills, such as leadership and communication. Additionally, the board should provide practical resources and clear guidance on how to apply them effectively. By focusing on member growth and engagement, NAYGN will continue to develop the next generation of nuclear professionals and strengthen the industry’s future.

Christina's Vision Statement
In the next two years, NAYGN should prioritize building a stronger bridge between chapters, industry, and academia to accelerate innovation and workforce development. By hosting quarterly joint events and technical workshops with industry associations, we will create consistent opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing. A cornerstone initiative will also be to enable students and professionals to work together on capstone and research projects that address real-world nuclear challenges. These efforts will position NAYGN as a leader in fostering technical excellence, engagement, and advocacy for Canada’s nuclear future.

Jay's Vision Statement
NAYGN’s priority over the coming two years should be to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation and inclusion. This means equipping young professionals with the skills and network to succeed, while providing creative professional-development content and mentorship opportunities. By championing diversity and ensuring every member has a path to grow and lead, NAYGN will position itself as the premier launchpad for the next generation of nuclear leaders and the sustainable future of the industry.

Francis's Vision Statement
NAYGN should prioritize professional development and engagement that aligns with the ongoing transformation in industry. There will be various, immense efforts to deliver on AR deployments in the next 16-24 months, as well as a lot of work to restart and uprate current plants, and therefore NAYGN should be prioritizing capturing new information and developing viable working guidance based on the lessons that the industry will learn over the course of this new nuclear revolution. To that end, earnest engagement with federal and state governments can provide an ROI way beyond anything the industry has experienced in over 20 years.

Jessica's Vision Statement
Over the next two years, NAYGN should prioritize technology that strengthens engagement, inclusion, and knowledge sharing across the organization. Our platforms should support members from all backgrounds, locations, and roles within the nuclear industry. By investing in well-organized, user-friendly tools, NAYGN can better connect chapters, expand access to educational resources, and create a more seamless experience for both members and volunteers. Technology should help unify the organization and support the full diversity of the nuclear workforce.
