Professional Development (PD)
Continuous learning for the nuclear workforce is supported by education through Webinars, PD Programs such as the Atomic Mentoring Program (AMP), and event planning in Conferences, none of which would be possible without Fundraising or Technology supporting NAYGN’s digital infrastructure.
Public Information (PI)
Engaging the public in nuclear Advocacy conferences, empowering youth via Student Outreach, searching out Clean Energy initiatives, and communicating with government officials through Government Outreach, the PI pillar is replete with opportunities to showcase passion and knowledge of nuclear. Knowledge Transfer & Retention (KTR)
Do you want to uphold the legacy of NAYGN now and in the future? If so, the KTR pillar subcommittees might be right for you. Good practices and exceptional achievements by NAYGN members are highlighted in the form of Awards, and Benchmarking checks the health of the whole organization through surveys and reports. Former presidents of NAYGN contribute to the shape and continuity of NAYGN by weighing in on Bylaws & Rules and by ensuring Sustainability in collaboration with the NAYGN board.
Networking
Building connections between our members is the core aspect of this pillar, and is achieved by Engagement with our members through contests and internal initiatives, building strong connections with international nuclear groups through International Relations, and updates on NAYGN highlights and achievements through our Social Media accounts.
